Biography

Born in Beirut in 1967, Mansour Dib is a professional photographer with more than three decades of experience across architecture, interior, advertising, and fine art photography. A graduate in photography from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), he began his career in Paris (1989–1997) as a filtreur-tireur at Mouvement et Couleur, a professional photo lab specializing in black-and-white and color printing, before returning to Lebanon to manage the Photography Studio and Lab at USEK’s Fine Arts Department.

His career includes long-standing collaborations with leading architects and designers such as Dory Hitti, Jihad Khairallah, and Nada Debs, as well as interior photography for Le Cercle Interior Design Gallery. Mansour has also worked extensively with major art galleries, collectors, and museums, including Janine Rbeiz Gallery, Ayam Gallery, Saleh Barakat Gallery, Marfaa Gallery, Opera Gallery Beirut, Nadine Fayad Gallery, the Jawad Adra Collection, the Dalloul Art Foundation, the Nabu Museum, and the Sursock Museum.

Renowned for his portraits of artists and documentation of their works, he has photographed influential figures such as Yvette Achkar, Aref El Rayess, Huguette Caland, Hussein Madi, Raouf Rifai, Jamil Molaeb, Mohamad Rawas, and Ayman Baalbaki. His photography has also been featured in numerous books and publications dedicated to Middle Eastern art and culture, including monographs on Romuald Sciora, Jamil Molaeb, Mohamed Rawass, Huguette Caland, Hanibal Srouji, Raouf Rifai, and Alfred Basbous.

In addition to his professional career, Mansour has contributed to education, including teaching analog photography at AUB (2022–23). At the Fine Art Photography Academy (FAPA), he instructs courses in Architecture Photographyand Advertising Photography, sharing both technical expertise and a refined artistic perspective.
