Course Description
Step back into the roots of photography with Professor Saleh Rifai, a seasoned expert with decades of experience. In this course, you will explore the artistic and technical world of analog photography, learning how to work with film cameras and rediscover the magic of images revealed only after development.
Over four sessions,combining classroom instruction and outdoor shooting, you will:
- Explore different types of analog cameras and films
- Understand the mechanical functions of film cameras
- Practice loading and shooting with 35mm film
- Compare the creative processes of analog and digital photography
- Experiment with digitizing negatives through scanning
- Gain personal insights and feedback from a veteran photographer
