Course Description
This 25-hour practice module is tailored for those who have completed 75 hours of Studio Lighting courses. Working independently in FAPA’s fully equipped studio, you will plan, set up, direct, and shoot without assistance, developing the confidence and discipline needed to manage your own professional studio. Each session requires you to prepare your concept, handle lighting and styling, run the shoot, and restore the studio once finished.
As part of your preparation for the Professional Fine Art Photography Graduation Project, you will choose 10 out of 15 practice topics:
- High-fashion editorial with dramatic contrasts
- Jewelry close-ups highlighting sparkle and reflections
- Gourmet dish presentation with styled details
- Dish with artistic smoke effect
- Product-in-action (splash, pour, or motion freeze)
- Perfume advertising with creative lighting setups
- Beauty portrait with colored gels and bold expressions
- Cinematic black-and-white portrait series
- Conceptual still-life inspired by surrealism
- Lifestyle product shoot for social media branding
- Fashion accessories (bags, shoes, eyewear) under studio light
- Minimalist editorial with clean, modern aesthetics
- Texture and material study (fabric, glass, metal)
- Family or group portrait with balanced multi-lighting
- Personal creative project of your choice
At the end of the module, your photoshoots must be submitted to FAPA and will be reviewed and approved by the instructor jury.
